Enjoy Your Free Time When You Volunteer at a Dallas Museum
If you enjoy exploring museums, consider becoming a volunteer. You can give back to your community when you volunteer to work as a docent, event assistant, and more. Here are a few of the museums near our Victory Park apartments in need of friendly volunteers:
Perot Museum of Nature & Science
Packed full of fun, the Perot Museum strives to "inspire minds through nature and science." It features permanent and traveling exhibits and films that keep viewers entertained until the very end. Volunteers help the museum achieve its mission. They come from different backgrounds, and year-round opportunities are available. Fill out an online application to get started.
Frontiers of Flight Museum
Welcoming aviation enthusiasts from around the world, the Frontiers of Flight Museum is Texas' premier air and space museum. It boasts aircraft, spacecraft, and an extensive collection featuring over 35,000 artifacts. Volunteers help enhance the guest experience. They act as greeters, docents, and exhibit hall ambassadors, as well as fill other roles. If you like to work with your hands, ask about becoming a model builder.
African American Museum
Dallas' African American Museum is the only museum of its type in the Southwest region. It is recognized for housing one of the country's largest collections of African American folk art. The team members use their award-winning design expertise to produce exhibits that tell exciting stories. They also create the fun hands-on experiences offered during the educational programming. The museum's volunteers "help give the gift of art and culture." Complete the online application to work as a special exhibit docent.
After volunteering, grab a treat at a nearby bakery. You can enjoy eclairs, cupcakes, and other delectable sweets. To call Cirque home, please contact us. We would love for you to see firsthand the amenities and floor plans our apartments in downtown Dallas have to offer.
