Hide

The staff at Hide strives to keep the food surprising and the cocktails interesting. The from-scratch meals are made using time-tested recipes, and the bartenders create their own cocktail flavorings, mixers, and garnishes. Hide was voted the best new bar in 2017, and its cozy atmosphere features exposed brick, dim lighting, and dark wood accents. The varied brunch menu includes Belgian cornmeal waffles, chilaquiles, and baked eggs, along with mimosas featuring orange juice and brut cava. 

Wheelhouse 

The Wheelhouse provides a modern take on the gastropub. Its motto is "Come Late. Stay Later.," and this ultra trendy Design District destination comes complete with picture windows, white brick, and unique works of art. Wheelhouse has a four-star rating on Yelp, and the waitstaff often knows regulars by name. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the meals are made with the freshest and finest ingredients. Offerings include breakfast tacos, blueberry pancakes, and vegan breakfast bowls.

Nova 

Nestled in North Oak Cliff, Nova is a gastropub featuring a chef-driven menu with ever-changing nightly specials. Its eclectic decor features star and planet-shaped light fixtures and 60s-esque signage, and the friendly staff treats everyone like family. Brunch is offered on the weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the menu offers an array of dishes such as French toast casserole, chicken and waffles, and Angus brisket burgers. Drink specials include Novamosas and mojitos.
