Oak Highlands Brewery is where you'll find a 3,000 square foot taproom that welcomes friendly dogs. Large windows allow guests to watch the brewing process, and big screen televisions and a projector offer the best sports viewing. Guests can also challenge their friends to air hockey, ping pong, and cornhole. The brewmasters have won numerous awards, and their creations include Golden Mustache, Vanilla Porter, and Charity (a portion of the proceeds benefit a nonprofit organization).

White Rock Alehouse & Brewery 

The White Rock Alehouse & Brewery is a popular stop after a day at the lake. It was established by area residents who are passionate about craft beer, and the selection includes local brews as well as those from across the country. The beer garden is the perfect place to relax, and it comes complete with scenic views. Try an Alehouse burger with a pint of Big Thicket, Urban Parakeet, or Capsized Kayak. 

On Rotation

On Rotation is a small batch brewery and taproom offering experimental flavors. Nestled in the Lakewood neighborhood, it features rotating taps from Texas and beyond. The casual setting is perfect for a night out with friends, and it includes chalkboard menus, colorful stools, and works of art. Guests enjoy chatting with the staff and can learn about the different varieties. Choices include Blueberry Waffle, Kanye West Coast, and Jalapeno Saison.
