Checkered Past Winery 

Called the "Wine Pub of Dallas," Checkered Past is an urban winery with a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. The winery was founded on the principle of making wine accessible to everyone. It's found inside the historic 100-year-old Sears and Roebuck distribution center and features candlelit tables and unique works of art. Wines include Malbec, Syrah, and Tempranillo Barrel Reserve. Stoney's Wine Lounge

When Stone and Dianna Savage decided to offer hard-to-find wines, Stoney's Wine Lounge was born. It provides a cozy atmosphere and is the longest run independently owned wine venue in Dallas. As professional jazz musicians, the Savages' are well-known on Texas' music scene. They offer live entertainment on the weekends, which always draws a crowd. Wines include Cannonball Chardonnay, Fire Road Sauvignon Blanc, and Poppy Pinot Noir. 

Bodega Wine Bar 

Bodega is a quaint neighborhood wine bar featuring a warm, relaxing environment. It now calls the Lakewood neighborhood home and has gained recognition from local publications. The wine flights come with an education on selection, and the sommelier-selected fine wines tempt even the pickiest wine lover. Choices by the glass include Eyrie Pinot Gris, Chateauneuf Blanc, and Rhone Rose. They can be enjoyed with beef empanadas, bruschetta, or the cheese plate. 

On the last Saturday of every month, Bodega hosts a wine fair. It features some of the world's best wines and delicious samples are included with admission.
