Rosedale Rare Books is an odd little place tucked in the corner of an armory. Since the books they sell are truly rare and valuable, the doors are locked at all times and someone has to personally allow you to enter. Rosedale specializes in first-print editions of classics as well as out-of-print editions. This is one of those bookstores that you can smell right when you walk in--thick and musty, the smell of old paper and ink. Interabang Books

Interabang Books is a beautiful, modern, wide-open bookstore with a dedication to children's and teen books. Their adult and nonfiction sections are also well-stocked, so this is a great destination for families. Interabang Books hosts author events and book signings almost every day of the month and has their own podcast. This is another bookstore that is very invested in creating a community around reading and book-loving.
