The Dallas Museum of Art is one of the largest museums in the United States. DMA hopes to provide its visitors with a diverse art experience, highlighting pieces from many different cultures around the world. In 2013, the Museum was able to provide free general admission for all of its visitors. The Museum is open Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a natural history and science museum. The Museum features programs and exhibits for visitors of all ages. Explore the human body through the Discovering Life Hall. Venture into outer space in the Expanding Universe Hall. Learn something new by watching one of their 3D films. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Place allows you to explore the timeline of an American tragedy and discover the legacy of JFK. The Museum is open on Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can find admission prices and purchase tickets on their website.
