Many people have heard of paint and sip studios, where you can either BYOW or BYOB, to an art class and drink a little while following a teacher's step-by-step instructions. The studios exist for you to enjoy yourself with loved ones and friends and to learn a little something about what you are capable of, artistically.
There are several paint and sip studios near your downtown Dallas apartments. They each put a unique and fun spin on the education they provide:

PAINTING WITH A TWIST

Painting with a Twist is located on Lovers Lane, five and a half miles from Victory Park and only eleven minutes from Cirque. Sign up for a class, bring a friend or two along with either wine or beer and come on down. They supply everything you will need to create your project. Twist provides cups and a refrigerator but requests that you bring your ice. The teachers are all local artists with proven talents. You may choose between a two or three-hour class and you can take your masterpiece home with you after class is over. No experience is required and there are several classes to choose from.

PINOT'S PALETTE

Pinot's Palette is located near Lakewood, just six miles from Cirque, which is only a fourteen-minute drive. They also have a wide variety of classes that you and your friends can choose from and they also provide all of the art supplies that you will need. Just BYOW or BYOB. They have wine glasses, plates and silverware if you choose to bring snacks. Their updated music choices will have you feeling great and ready to party, on the canvas, of course.

VEE FAYE DTX

Vee Faye DTX is located only three and a half miles from Cirque, which is just an 8-minute drive. The entire studio has a rocking good time and awards for the best, and worst, paintings are given each night in their group classes. The awards are the MVP award which is the most valuable painter award and the BYH award which stands for the "bless your heart" award. There will be a photographer moving around the studio to capture images of your fun night. Vee Faye's also serves drinks in-house, which consist of juice and jello shots. Vee's mission is to make you feel as confident in her studio as you did during the art class in elementary school. You can do it!
