Try the Best Crepes in Dallas
Did you know that crepes came to America in the 1930s?
They were brought by French chef Henri Charpentier who claimed to create the original Crepes Suzette.
If you would like to enjoy some crepes, visit one of these restaurants near our Dallas high rise apartments where the chefs prepare this dish to perfection:
Whisk Crepes Cafe
When Parisian-born Julien Eelsen decided to bring a taste of his homeland to Dallas, Whisk Crepes Cafe was born. His love for cooking began as a young boy. He picked strawberries and gooseberries with his grandmother, and together, they turned them into jam. Julien uses time-honored recipes and creates every dish from scratch. Crepes include P&B Nutella, poached pears, and lemon curd.
Cafe de France
Cafe de France began from humble beginnings. It's now the city's most popular French-American restaurant and is the site of many romantic dates and special occasion celebrations. In the kitchen, the chefs prepare the meals from scratch. They use fresh ingredients and prepare traditional fare not found anywhere else. Crepes include Florentine, blueberry, and ham & cheese. They're best enjoyed with hash browns and Irish cream cappuccino.
Lavendou Bistro
Offering a retreat to the French countryside, Lavendou serves the cuisine of the country's southern region. The restaurant features a warm blue and yellow color scheme complete with hand-screened Pierre Deux fabrics. Guests receive friendly service and enjoy a dining experience they won't soon forget. The owner boasts that the menu is deliciously approachable, and the dishes rotate to keep the selection fresh and exciting. Try the crepes of the day with the French onion soup.
