Texadelphia

Home to the original Texas cheesesteak, Texadelphia has been a Lone Star State fixture since 1981. Founder Joel Stanley had moved to Austin from Philadelphia the year before. He brought his love for the Philly cheesesteak and added a Texas twist. Each sandwich is made to order, and don't forget to add the signature sauce. Try the Texican, featuring beef, grilled onions, mozzarella, and jalapenos. It's served with a side of queso and pairs well with the Philly cheese fries.

The Great Outdoors Sub Shop

A Dallas fixture since 1973, The Great Outdoors Sub Shop opened after New Jersey native, Jerry Oliverie, decided to bring a taste of the East Coast to Texas. He created custom sandwiches, which later earned the title of "Best Subs in Dallas" six years running. The shop brings the outdoors in, and provides fast, friendly services. Sandwiches include corned beef, spiced ham, and peanut butter, banana, & honey on wheat. The Great Outdoors offers pickup as well as delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Uncle Uber's

A mom-and-pop shop, Uncle Uber's is where Bryan and Kathy shave the meats and hand-cut the fries. They also make their own sauces and cookies, and they treat each customer like family. The sandwiches are made to order, and you can customize the signature options. Choices include slow-roasted pork, blackened fish, and grilled cheese. Both takeout and delivery are available.
