Scarborough Festival

Scarborough Renaissance Festival has been a North Texas tradition since 1981. The festival is set in a 16th century English village celebrating the visit of King Henry VIII and his court. The festival runs annually on weekends in the months of April and May. Enjoy entertainment at over twenty different stages, participate in games of skill, and shop at the many village shops. Sample menus from the five different kitchens. Some of the festival-goer favorites are roasted turkey legs, Scottish eggs, handmade pasta, and fresh pastries. The festival also boasts 12 pubs and taverns and daily wine and beer tastings.

North Texas Irish Festival

The North Texas Irish Festival will celebrate its 40th festival in March 2022 at Dallas Fair Park. Guests will enjoy live music, dancing, storytelling and various demonstrations, horse shows, beer and whiskey tastings, arts and crafts, and much more. Sample traditional foods like shepherd's pie and Irish stew.

Harlem Renaissance Fest

The Harlem Renaissance Fest will transport you back to the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. Guests enjoy swing dancing, lindy hopping, and big band music. Hear the sixteen-piece jazz orchestra play the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cab Calloway, and Ella Fitzgerald. Guests should expect to wear formal or semi-formal attire representing the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. The 8th annual Harlem Renaissance Festival will be held at the Carrollton Plaza Arts Center this February in Carrollton, TX.
